The Liffey Service Tunnel is a service tunnel for various pipelines in Dublin, Ireland, owned by (Dublin City Council ). The tunnel was designed by (Atkins ) and constructed by a Joint Venture of the German Contractor (Ed. Züblin AG ), Stuttgart and the Irish Contractor (Cleary & Doyle Contracting Ltd. ), Wexford. Construction period was from September 2006 until October 2008. Floor Access Covers by Surespan Ltd - The Liffey Service Tunnel contains many floor covers providing access to maintenance areas below. These were supplied by (link Surespan Ltd ) in the UK and contain cobbled stone infill as well as various sized covers with chequerplate lids rated to FACTA Class A, pedestrian loading.
